Fear of mind

“If you want to overcome your fear then you have to face that fear.”

Hi Everyone!!!

Fear is a kind of barrier in our life, which prohibits us to do something. Fear can be of anything and it varies from person to person like what they are fearful of. If you want to be successful in your life, then it is very necessary to overcome your fear, because as much as you try to run from your fear, that much your fear will be chasing you.

You don’t know at which phase of life this fear would become a big problem for you. Here, I remember a chapter which I studied in grade 12th and that inspired me a lot. In that chapter, author shared his experience about overcoming his fear of water(Aquaphobia). The author named Douglas was very much fearful of swimming in water. At the age of 11, he decided to learn swimming and went to the pool. He was sitting on the edge of pool waiting for his friends. Suddenly, a big bully boy came and pushed Douglas into water. Douglas decided not to panic and he remembered his trick of coming out of water. His plan was to first reach the surface of water and then jump with full of potential and finally swimming to edge of pool. However, he tried this thing many times in water but he was out of his breath and lost all his strength. He became unconscious in water. After sometime he found himself out of pool. This incident affected him a lot and this time he decided to hire the instructor. He guided him in very well manner and taught him about how to use the legs, breath in and breath out etc. Douglas day by day started improving and finally the day came when he became the perfect swimmer. But, Douglas was still not sure and wanted to clarify that his fear would not come again in front of him. He went to lake wentworth and decided to swim across the island. In the mid of lake, his fear again came in his mind but couldn’t win over his confidence. Finally, Douglas challenged his fear and was confident about his skill.

So, If you are determined and have true spirit of learning then no power of world can stop you to overcome your fear.

Thank you everyone.

POLLINATION BY HONEYBEES

Pollination is the process of transfer of pollen grains from anther of one plant to stigma of either same plant or different plant. Different plants follow the different modes of pollination. It can be done by biotic as well as abiotic mode. If talking about the biotic mode then honeybees are the major pollinators on this planet.

Around 40% of the pollination is carried out by the honeybees. Let us understand briefly how it occurs and what is it’s importance in our ecosystem. Pollination is actually first step of plants towards fertilisation. In this very first step, the gametes are brought together to form zygote, which further leads to the formation of seed. Anther of plant produces the pollen grains which are very tiny but in huge count. Now, when honeybees sit on the plant specially on it’s anther then those pollens get attached to the body of honeybee. In this way, when honeybee will sit on the next female plant then those pollens will be detected by the plant. Then, after the pollen pistil interaction, zygote will be formed. So, this is a brief phenomenon of pollination carried out by honeybees.

Honeybees are attracted by the colorful petals of plant. This is actually the way how plants attract the pollinators. In return of pollination, they provide them nectar and nutritious pollens as food. Plants and honeybees have a very important relation.

From here, we can consider the role of one species in the existence of other species. One scientist said that if honeybees would become extinct then indirectly it would impact the human species also. This is because if pollination would not occur then plants would not be produced and thus we cannot survive. So, we should never try to harm any species, if one species is in danger of extinction then it can imbalance the whole ecosystem.

THANK YOU EVERYONE.

#FARMERS PROTEST

India is considered to be the land of agriculture and agriculture is the backbone of India’s economy. Most of the people in India are engaged in agriculture to arrange their bread and butter. With the onset of green revolution, India has become one of the great producers in agriculture.

Nowadays farmers of India are protesting against the three agricultural laws introduced by the central government in country. Majority of the farmers are showing their dissatisfaction from such laws. However the government of country claims that the laws are made for the welfare of people and to enhance their income in agriculture. But still the government of country could not convince the farmers to accept the laws.

Farmers are the beautiful souls of humanity. If there are no farmers then imagine for a moment how shall we satisfy our hunger. Farmer is the great profession in this world. The one who fulfils our basic needs. However they are not satisfied from the laws and still sitting on the borders of Delhi to convince the government for cancellation of laws. They are that much determined that if the government would not cancel the laws they would not move to their homes.

They have been sitting their for more than six months. I really appreciate their strong will and true spirit to fight for the justice in this protest. The people out of India are also contributing in this protest to support the farmers. Everything is made available over there from basic food to medical services. Not only the farmers but the people of other professions are also supportive to the farmers and are in the favour of his protest.

At last, I would say that if the farmers are not willing to accept the laws and if they are unhappy, the government should not forcably introduce the laws. Moreover, Our country is a democratic country in which everything should be for the people. Respecting the constitution of the country and feelings of the farmers who have been looking for the cancellation of laws, the government of country should cancel the laws. More and more people should come together to support this protest.

THANK YOU EVERYONE

Summary of book : As a man thinketh

Reading books is really a good habit. When you read any book then it seems as if you have entered into a different world. You don’t even come to know when you get lost in the book you are reading. In this blog, I would share the summary of a very inspiring book that is ‘As a man thinketh’.

The book is authorized by a very famous author ‘James Allen’. He mentioned that a man is literally what he thinks and his character is sum of all his thoughts. He assumed our mind as a garden in which the thoughts named seeds are sown. The thought takes root over there and produces it’s own bloosming sooner or later. Our thoughts are changed into our acts which further lead to the different circumstances. Ultimately, good thoughts bear good fruits and and bad thoughts bear bad fruits. In short, “Thoughts become Things.” So if we good thoughts come into our mind they would help us to be a good human being.

We sometimes think that a thought can be kept as a secret in the mind but literally it doesn’t happen. Somehow it would get expressed and reveal the man’s character. According to author, it rapidly crystallizes into habit and a habit solidifies into circumstance. For example, thoughts of fear, doubt, indecision crystallize into weak and irresolute habits which solidify into circumstances of failure, indigence and slavish dependence. On the other hand, thoughts of courage, self reliance and decision crystallize into manly habits and solidify into circumstances of success plenty and freedom.

Sometimes we get discouraged from accomplishing our goals because we fail again and again. In that case the strength of character gained will be the true success of man. The one who has conquered doubt and fear, has conquered failure because doubt and fear are great enemies of knowledge.

At last, I would recommend everyone to read this life changing book. It has that power to bring a drastic change in one’s life. Last but not the least, it can help us to be a good human being.

Generation gap

I am feeling very much pleasure while sharing my experiences on this topic. First of all, let us discuss briefly what is this generation gap ?

Generation gap is the term used to describe the age difference between two generations. For instance, the gap between our fathers and grandfathers. I remember a poem which I read in my grade 11th. The name of the poem was Father to Son in which poet as a father was describing about his relationship with the son. This poem was totally based upon the conflicts arisen by generation gap. Although poet shared his personal experiences in the poem but the subject is really universal which has it’s consequences in every relationship.

The term is very wide in itself. The differences between them are actually based upon their thinking/thought process. As the time passes on, the living style of people goes on changing and modernization makes their lifestyle more advanced. Children start refusing their parents’ orders whereas parents want them to opt the lifestyle which they lived. This is the root cause of conflicts between parents and their wards. The love between gets lost between these daily quarrels. Although their may be love and care but is generally not expressed. The example for such conflict is like when parents want their children to not go outside in the late night but children are willing to go with their friends. Additionally, when parents want their children to wear traditional clothes but they are interested in wearing western culture clothes. There are many more examples and the list is endless.

Now there is one major solution to avoid or solve these quarrels that is mutual understanding. Children and parents should understand the emotions of each other. They should respect their feelings and try to cooperate. If there would be opposition on any topic then obviously there are high chances of conflicts. So there should be agreement to sort out the matter or if not possible then they should have strong points to prove their statement. All in all, efforts should be done to maintain the love and care in relationship.

How corona virus is affecting our dreams !!!

It has been more than one year when corona virus came into our lives. Everything was going well on it’s right track, but suddenly this virus made everyone’s life hell. It affected almost all the aspects of our life even the most basic our daily routine. Everyone’s attention got diverted and it created a fear of death and that of losing our near and dear ones in our mind during this pandemic. The foremost thing which affected us a lot is that it took our dreams into it’s grisp. For instance, think about a school going child, he would be dreaming to learn something new in his school; he would be excited to play with his friends and enjoy the various games with them; he would be delighted to pursue his hobbies like playing football, archery etc. But unfortunately this killing virus marked a fullstop too this ongoing processs. Not only it affected the lives of school going children but that of all of us. Governments of the countries announced the lockdoown everywhere seeing the adverse conditions. Earlier we could go outside whenever we want, but then we had to stay at home. The people who had dreamed of going outside got hurted. The situation made the people mentally sick. This self isolation pinned them a lot. Many people even lost their lives in this pandemic. Furthermore, it badly affected the financial condition of people whether they are lower class, middle class or higher class people. Almost all the professions got haulted and no source of income left. So, all in all people started living a life a life worse than hell. At last, I would like to end this blog post by saying that we could fight against this virus only if we were united as one and we are fighting. I just hope that soon we would get rid of this virus and our unity and strength would win over this deadly virus.

  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
